AdSense Required Pages Checker

Enter your site's URL to see whether your homepage links to five essential pages publishers typically add before applying for Google AdSense: Privacy Policy, About, Contact, Terms, and Disclaimer.

Checks link presence only. It does not assess page content, policy compliance, or AdSense approval eligibility. AdPrepare is not affiliated with Google.

How this check works

The tool fetches your homepage and looks for links whose address or anchor text matches the wording publishers normally use for five pages: Privacy Policy, About, Contact, Terms, and Disclaimer. When a link is not found on that page, it falls back to two weaker sources in order — the addresses listed in your sitemap, and a direct request to the conventional path such as /privacy. Each result carries the source it came from, because a visible link and a path that merely responds are not the same evidence. Google's published guidance on preparing a site expects a visitor to be able to reach these pages through normal navigation.

Example

A site that links its Privacy Policy in the footer returns Found with the source recorded as a link on the fetched page. A site with no such link, where https://example.com/privacy still answers with a matching title, returns Found with the weaker path-probe source — a signal that the page exists but may not be reachable by clicking.

How to read the result

Not detected means no matching link appeared in the homepage HTML at the time of the request. Menus built entirely in JavaScript are a common reason for that, and the page may still exist. A result of Found tells you a link or path was observed; it says nothing about what those pages contain, which is a separate question from whether they can be reached.

What the checker reads inside the privacy policy

When a privacy policy link is found on your own domain, the tool fetches that page as well and looks for the three disclosures Google's required-content documentation asks a publisher to include: that third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads, that Google's advertising cookies relate to visits to this and other sites, and how a visitor can opt out of personalised advertising. A page can exist and still be missing these, which is why presence and wording are reported separately. Many sites keep the advertising parts in a separate cookie policy, so the tool follows that link when the privacy page carries one and reports which document each item came from.

Limits: this check reads one page of raw HTML plus the two fallbacks described above, and the policy page itself when it sits on the same domain. It reports whether wording on those topics was observed, not whether the wording is legally sufficient in your jurisdiction, and it does not assess eligibility.
